trules is a blogger, traveler, artist, and educator. a native of new york city, he has been a working professional in the performing and literary arts for over 40 years. he is currently a full time associate professor of practice at USC's (university of southern california) school of dramatic arts. in previous incarnations, he has been a modern dancer, fulbright scholar, allen ginsberg poetry award winner, documentary filmmaker ("the poet and the con"), solo performance artist, and clown. (he ran for mayor of new york city as clown candidate, gino cumeezi, and finished 5th out of 4 candidates!)
